Assessment of commercially available manual toothbrushes in India: A cross-sectional survey

Abstract:
Introduction: A variety of manual toothbrushes are available all over the world. A quick go through of the list of commercially available manual toothbrushes in India will be informative for the people all over the world.
Aim: To present the information about the manual toothbrushes commercially available in the Indian market.
Materials and methods: The present study was conducted by collecting various brands of manual toothbrushes available in the Indian market was collected. The toothbrushes for adults as well as for kids were included in the study. The salient features, types and maximum retail price (MRP) for each toothbrush were tabulated.
Result: Total, 107 toothbrushes were collected from 43 various towns and cities of India.
Conclusion: This study will be helpful to provide an insight for people in India & all around the world to get information regarding manual toothbrushes commercially available in India. Easy and quick information in a single chart is available.
