Ethno-medicinal weeds of Vijayapura district of Karnataka, India

Ethno-medicinal weeds survey of Vijayapura district of Karnataka comprising 13 tehsil was conducted during March 2018 to July 2022. The purpose of this survey was to document the medicinal weeds plant. The present study was initiated with an aim to identify medicinal weeds resources from traditional practitioners of Vijayapura district. There are about 70 species of angiosperms belonging to 62 genera and 34 families of medicinal weeds were found to treat different diseases.
